Jill Perilman, an accomplished denim designer of 22 years, founded Denimhead in Los Angeles in 2004, after being frustrated with the lack of current denim and casual sportswear information in the apparel marketplace. While other trend services allocated only a small section in their books to these categories, Jill felt that they were being seriously overlooked. Throughout Jill's long career in design, she has demonstrated a keen eye for spotting the "next big trends" in denim and casual sportswear. With extensive experience, sheer ambition and fortitude, Denimhead was launched.
The response to Denimhead has been remarkable. Today, Denimhead is internationally recognized as a leading denim and casual sportswear trend forecasting service. Our clients include highly respected retailers, designers, merchandisers and manufacturers in the U.S. and abroad.
Looking forward, Denimhead is committed to expanding its services to include the launch of our online subscription photo archive comprised of photographs dating back to 1998 and our online magazine Denimheadspeaks, which will launch with Define It. - a dictionary of terms relating to our focus on denim and casual sportswear. The magazine will report on additional topics in the months to come.
